How to register your CV on LinkedIn?
There are two ways to register your resume on LinkedIn. This way, you can apply for various job opportunities. See below:
Attach your printed resume through your settings
One way to get a temporary job on LinkedIn is by attaching your resume to the social network. To do this, follow these steps:
By web
- Open LinkedIn and go to the “Me” tab, clicking on your profile picture;
- Click on settings and privacy;
- On the left side, look for the Job Search Preferences menu;
- Go to Job Application Settings;
- Then, click on upload resume. But to send the file, it must be in PDF, doc or docx format. Also, the maximum limit is 5MB.
By the app
- Open the LinkedIn app on your phone and go to the Me tab, tapping on your profile picture;
- Go to settings;
- But now go to Privacy and tap on the Job Application Settings option;
- So now, tap on upload resume to upload the file. However, remember that it must be in PDF, doc or docx format.

Now that you know how to register your CV, it's time to learn how to submit it for a temporary job opening on LinkedIn.
So, check out the step by step:
- Search for a temporary job vacancy on LinkedIn and click on the position that interests you;
- Go for simplified application;
- Fill in the information in the required fields and tap upload resume to send the document;
- Then, click submit application to finish.
However, if the vacancy of interest has an “apply” button, it means that the process will be carried out on an external website, that is, outside of LinkedIn.
Save your profile in resume format
We mentioned at the beginning that there were two ways, so the other is to leave your profile as a resume. This way, with your information, you can quickly create a PDF resume.
So, see the step by step:
- access your LinkedIn profile and click on more, on the presentation card;
- So now choose the save as PDF option and wait for it to download.
