The company has been operating in Brazil for over 70 years and is the largest and most complete non-alcoholic beverage company in the country. With such a large presence in national and international markets, it needs a large contingent of employees capable of performing their functions with excellence, ranging from production to research into new products. For this reason, Coca-Cola values its employees so much, even those in lower-level positions and especially apprentices/interns, who are the future of the company.
The History of Coca-Cola
The soft drink company arrived in Brazil in 1941, in the Northeast region, to supply American troops passing through the country before heading to the European front in World War II. A year later, Coca-Cola opened its first factory in the city of Rio de Janeiro, at the time still the capital of Brazil.
With the end of the war, Coca-Cola realized that Brazil was a potential market and decided to better position its product in the country with more intensive marketing strategies. While in the beginning operations were the priority (deliveries, production, etc.), after World War II marketing and advertising became powerful weapons to dominate the country's non-alcoholic beverage market.
Over the years, the company has only grown, expanding its operations in several regions of Brazil and increasing the number of employees and decisions made by the Brazilian branch of Coca-Cola. Today, the company has nine partner groups in seven beverage segments (water, tea, coffee, nectars, juices, soft drinks and sports drinks). The brands include: Del Valle, Sprite, Power Ade, Matte Leão, Crystal Mineral Water, Fanta, Kuat, Schweppes, Mais, i9 and Coca-Cola, in addition to variations within the brands such as Matte Fuze.
For all operations in Brazil and in its relationships with other countries, the company needs personnel for various sectors such as Human Resources, Nutritional Science, Finance, Administrative Services, Franchise Operations, Sales, Strategic Sector, Customer Service, etc. Coca-Cola also offers internships and vacancies for people with special needs (PNE), seeking to prepare for the future and get the best out of what each employee can offer to the company.
